Computer Lab

MIC has two Computer Labs equipped with 40 Pentium systems connected through Windows 98 based local area network with Windows NT server. Twenty-five terminals are fully equipped for multimedia applications. The Lab has all the software required for print and multimedia presentations.

Audio Lab

The audio lab is fitted with the latest professional multi-track digital recording and editing facility. Portable field recording units are also available for outdoor recording. Students learn to operate the TASCAM TM-D8000 and TM-D 4000 digital mixer console and work on the latest Soundscape and Cool Edit Pro software for sound editing.

Video Lab

The video lab is equipped with latest Sony Digital Camcorders and VTR. Matrox RT-2000 Non-linear Edit Systems are used for Video Editing. Facilities for recording and editing studio-based programs are also available.

Library

The library is well stocked with a number of books, newspapers and magazines, general and professional journals. Students will also have access to Internet and CD-ROM information retrieval facilities.
